Where are you going on your honeymoon?
We want to go somewhere tropical but now that we are looking, everywhere is soooooo expensive! Does anyone know of a good place to look for good deals? We’d be going in the beginning of May and staying for about 5 or 6 nights. Anywhere tropical – the Caribbean, Hawaii, Barbados, anywhere…

Has anyone been to Turtle Beach Resort, Barbados?
My fiance and I were thinking about all-inclusive places for our honeymoon at the end of September. We were looking at Turtle Beach Resort on the island of Barbados. Has anyone been there? Are the beaches nice? Are there fun activities to do? And also, is it very busy?
We’re looking to have fun in the Caribbean, but we also want to be able to lay back and relax. Thanks!
I have been there but only for lunch. I enjoyed it. The beach there is lovely mostly had tourist on it, it was very playful and the atmosphere/location was very nice. I think you’d enjoy it. there the staff was friendly and accomodating.

My husband and I are planning a trip to Barbados. Suggestions?
We’re going in March 09 when he gets home from deployment. We didn’t get a honeymoon, so we’re going for our 3rd anniversary. I’ve been researching online, but it’s hard to decide just what to do. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!! THANKS!
There’s a lot to do here, but you can check www.totallybarbados.com or www.barbados.org for a pretty good overview on the beaches, restaurants and other attractions.

Which area is nicest in Barbados?
Which part of Barbados would be best for a honeymoon and has the nicest beachs? Christ Church, St. James, St. Michael, St. Peter?
I do not believe that you can say that a particular parish is best over another in terms of honeymoons. You are not going to stay in one area as Barbados is so small. In terms of the beaches, it is said that the west coast (St James) is better for bathing as the sea is calmer. The east has a lot of surf and more suitable for surfing (Bathsheba). Nevertheless, you can explore the whole island. The beaches are public (they belong to we) so you can go all around the island and swim.
Bay Shore Beach (Browne Beach) is very popular for locals and some tourist and has facilities for you to change in. There is also on in Silver Sands and one now built in Bath in St John. Bath might be out of the way for you so stick closer to town or Christ Church. Additionally, one of the best beaches in the world is Crane beach. You can visit there but use the public entrance (near the roundabout) and NOT through the hotel (Crane Beach Hotel) unless you want to pay $25.00.

All in all, I would suggest you stay at Little Arches in Christ Church. It is the perfect location for you. Check out the site for more information.
